i have an nvs and it died. it doesnt hook it doesnt do crap. i was thinking of getting a new ball but i need some advice. i was looking at getting the new black widow bite, but i dont want it to die. i was also looking at teh sidewinder, its a good ball and may last longer. another option i had was the twisted fury. im 15 and i'm a 190 average. i don't throw a very big hook. i just want a ball that performs good and lasts long. Any advice would help. Thanks!
If you want to save your NVS, just bring it to the pro shop and have them rejuvenate it to bring the coverstock back to "out of the box" condition. The seriously reactive and aggressive coverstocks need to be constantly polished and cleaned in order to keep it's performance.
I thought the same thing happened to my radical inferno and red zone, but after getting them totally cleaned, they're back to their normal reaction on the lanes. It should not cost more than $25, which is a better investment than purchasing a new ball.
