my school is Loomis Chaffee and our rivals are Kent
our mascot is the pelican and theirs is the lion
we have a tradition where the team with the most wins of sporting events that day gets the huge silver bowla nd the team who wins the football game gets the spoon
my school ALWAYS wins the bowl but our rivals always win the spoon

Have their ever been this many undefeated NCAA football teams at the end of the season?
As of November 27, 2009, there are 6 undefeated teams in college football. This seems amazing to me. What's the most undefeated at the end of the regular season before 2009? And don't get me started on how potentially up to 4 undefeated teams at the end of the BCS bowls would launch perfectly into a playoff. Current AP poll rankings and records:
