Rarely used

After 1 yr & rarely used ipod nano mother board is not working. Should I still claim it from Apple?
Apple gives warranty to product within the year of purchase. But i rarely use the said unit and now that im going to use it, it would hang and crush. I expect the item to last at least 5 years before it crush for something that worth so much. Can i claim anything from apple? I bought it abroad.
I highly doubt you can do anything about it now. If you bought it about a year ago, when the nano was just new on the market, not all of the bugs have been worked out. So now you are stuck with a useless piece of junk. You can either buy a new one or another MP3 player (I recommend the latter)...ipods are rather high-risk when it comes to theft anyways. My scratched-up 3 yr old mini was jacked a while ago... >_<

Why is the letter K rarely used in the French language?
I can only think of a few words with the letter K in them. Why is that?
Because it is rare in Latin. In Latin, K was only used for words of Greek origin that included the letter kappa. This was passed on into French usage. The "k" sound in Latin was marked (as it was in Etruscan) by the letter "c". This usage passed into French, so that "c" marks the "k" sound in front of back vowels and "qu" marks the "k" sound in front of front vowels. This was also true in Old English--"k" was even rarer in Old English than it is in French. "C" was used to mark the "k" sound in Old English.
