Plastic Bowling Ball Set
Help Me!!! I may have ruined my PIZZA DOUGH!!!?
I made a mixture of flour, cornmeal, butter, salt and sugar to make a deep dish pizza dough crust. Whipped it up into a ball. Oiled the bowl and covered it in plastic and put it in the refridgerator to set and rise for 40 minutes... In fact I was supposed to let it rise at room temperature. I just took it out. How do I save it? Can I just leave it out for another hour to rise @ room temp or do i need to continue with the process as the directions describe. HELP! P.S. my first time making pizza and I and everyone else is sooo very excited
IM SURE IT IS A RECIPE IN COOK MAGAZINE THE CALLS FOR CORMEAL BECAUSE IT IS A DEEP DISH CRUST
You didn't list any leavening ingredients such as yeast or baking powder. The dough will not rise without a leavener.
If in fact it does have yeast, just let it come to room temp then time your 40 min from there Place in a warm area such as on top of the refrigerator.
