Inferno Bowling Ball
give me some bowling tips please!!!?
i'm 5 step bowlers, i've been bowling for one year, my ball is the total inferno and smart zone 1, and looks like i'm a stroker player. oh, and my average is 135 (is it good or bad?) could you give me some tips, because i have a problem especially with my accuracy, ball speed, and ball spin. could you give me some tips???
i'm using 14 pounds ball
Depending on the drilling of your ball according to the axis and weight, if it's finger tipped or conventional, do not bend your thumb.
The ball should be held with your second finger, ring finger and your thumb base-again not the tip of your thumb.
If you want spin or hook close your baby finger to your ring finger and place your pointer finger as far as you can get it away from the first hole.
For Accuracy:
Position your ball at or slightly beneath your chest, concentrate on your mark you have located on the floor (called boards) pushing out on your first step - ELBOW straight in front of you, 2,3,4 steps elbow straight and ball is back-then right? your knee is bent (the slide foot) on 5 - release on your mark, 5th or 10th board left or right.
For Speed:
Always follow through-no matter what.
Rushing throws your body off, so pace yourself focus and relax. It's actually more mental than physical-focus is important.
Practice increases your game, by all means practice to increase your average.
Ball Spin;
Again, span your pointer finger, the ball should hit the floor after a slight flick of your wrist and once released your hand should be positioned in an extended "hand shake" and your elbow pointing toward the head Pin.
Also, while practicing focus on where oil is located on the lane and the amounts of oil, some lanes can be dry and make your ball hook more, if so, learn where to stand to hit the Pocket which is the Right hip of the 1 pin or 75% of the ball hitting the #3 pin and the head pin, hard of soft is Strike everytime or shall I say some scouts can be obedient. If you know what I mean. Also if you feel like you are working to hard, relax too many adjustment get's confusing. Remeber that your arsenal/equipment/ball is meant to do the "finishing" and the most work... not you.
A decent average is 165+

what bowling ball should i get?
hey guys im going out today and im looking for a bowling ball i have one thats 14 or 16 lbs i forgot i think its 16 not sure tho. anyways its a absolute inferno and its a medium-oily lanes.any suggestions on what type of bowling ball i should get for a heavy-heavy oily lanes type of ball any suggestions would be appreciated my average is 180

For heavy oil and long oil patterns, I use the original Fury by Brunswick, the Elite R47, Elite Blue and Green Aliens. Those bowling balls are basically strong enough to tackle any lane condition, especially heavy oil.
For medium oil, I use the Red Zone by Brunswick and Hammer Black Widow Pearl.
