fire Solid

Is fire a liquid, solid, or a gas, or something else?
That, and also, is there a chemical formula for fire?
Fire is a complex chemical reaction known as combustion, it is not a liquid, solid or gas so "something else".
The general formula for the combustion of hydrocarbons would be:
CxHy + (X+Y/4)O2 -> XCO2+ Y/2H2O
so say you're burning methane (CH4) your equation would be
CH4+2O2->CO2+2 H2O

What state is fire? Solid, Liquid or Gas or Plasma?
I was just roaming around when this question popped out of my mind. In what state is FIRE?
Fire is a mixture of hot gases. Flames are the result of a chemical reaction between oxygen in air and a fuel. The reaction produces carbon dioxide, steam, light, and heat. If the flame is hot enough, the gases are ionized and become yet another state of matter: plasma. So mainly it is a gas.
