Explorer Bowling Ball What was/is the most irritating pet you ever had?
What did they do that irritated you so much?
Also, what was their name?
Mine is a rat named Reign. She irritates me because she thinks she's an explorer, goes off for days, and we think she's been had by a cat...then she comes home like nothing is wrong! Bad girl! Bad! As rats do, she hoards ALL our stuff in her secret nests! She even somehow got a tennis ball under the couch!
How she did I have no idea!
And, the worst thing is...she uses her water bowl as a bathroom!
So, what is your experience?
Reign drinks her water from a bowl with a flat bottom...otherwise she knocks it over and wets her cage. The only time she is in the cage is during feeding time, and to sleep. The rest of the time she runs freely around the house. She crawls all over me at night if she isn't in her house.
My sister's purebred poodle who learned to fly. Each time she piddled, she'd fly. Nobody abused her, but she ruined so many things, she had to move on to another home.
As an adult, it would have to be Shorty, a beautiful leopard spotted kitten who clawed up my walls and shredded the curtains in every room.
The most neurotic cat I'd ever met belonged to my ex-boyfriend. The poor baby was so freaked by him she'd chew up anything made of fabric. Towels, clothing, bedding, mittens, upholstery....
She'd tend to settle down when I was there to give her attention and lots of snuggling, but if left alone, there were always surprises, whether new chew holes or barf puddles. Sorry I couldn't take her when I left him.
Rats? Thanks, I'm not that daring!
Where does she drink her water from?
Happy New Year!
Home treatment for acne can be in the form of a facial wash, a mask or a paste that you can apply to your face. Whichever form you prefer, it is a sure thing that you will never be short of options or ingredients if you opt to use home remedies. All you need is a bit of creativity and a few minutes to spare.
A home treatment for acne can be a facial wash. This is the easiest to prepare since all you need is a bowl of water and a handful of salt. Salt mixed with water is an effective oil-fighting wash that you can use every night. If you prefer something scented, use rose water instead. On the other hand, if you don't mind the smell, use vinegar mixed with water and you can have an instant formula which is effective both in fighting zits and in keeping your skin clear.
If you like making pastes, you can use sandalwood powder. Pour a small amount of water on the powder; just enough to make a paste, and apply it to your face, then wash it off after an hour. If you don't want to spend time mixing ingredients, just mash a regular size, ripe papaya and spread it on your face. If you prepare tomatoes, choose the freshest and plumpest ones and use the pulp on your skin. Wash it off with clean water after an hour.
A facial mask is another option that you can explore using ingredients that can be found in your home. The easiest one? Egg whites. Just apply the syrupy material to your face and leave it on for an hour or until it feels like you have something elastic on your face. Don't worry, it just feels that way. After washing it off with water, you'll see that it's all worth it.
If your prefer to dab remedies on your pimples without spreading the whole solution to your face, then you can use honey, vinegar, lemon juice and even toothpaste. Soak a cotton ball with vinegar and apply it to your pimples. Do this for a couple of nights. If you prefer something sweet, use honey. Follow the same procedure. Same thing with lemon juice. If all you have is a tube of toothpaste, then you can use that too. No need for a cotton ball, just squeeze a small amount on your finger and apply it to your pimples. You can leave it on for a night and wash it off the next morning.
If you find that mixing such concoctions or dabbing personally concocted ointments in your face is not your thing, then increasing your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables and drinking lots of water might do the trick. Proper diet will not only help keep acne at bay, it will also help keep you healthy and energetic. And get enough sleep while you're at it. Lack of sleep does make your pores larger and your skin dryer.
Home treatment for acne has been proven to be effective, but a healthy lifestyle is still the best way to keep your skin healthy, clear and pimple-free.
