Custom Bowling Ball Hook

I can hook with house bowling balls, but i can't with my custom fingertip ball.?

It is a 12 pound Power Groove Reactive High Gloss Polish bowling ball. I dont use my thumb when hooking House balls...And it works amazingly..Trying that with this new ball, gets me a gutter ball everytime, please just some advice?

You should be able to hook the ball as much with your thumb in as with your thumb out. The principle of apply revolutions is the same as when you don't use your thumb, but just with the thumb in. Don't turn your wrist, but keep it in a cupped position. Don't try to hook it, just release it with a cupped wrist and it'll come naturally.
