What is happening to my hamster???!!! hurrrrry!?
Im 13 and i went to a three day vacation at wild wood and i came bac to today. but before i left i made sure my hamster had enough food and water in each cage.(have two hamsters in separate cages). When i came back one of my hamster looked skinner and she was limping and wheezing and she couldnt even move or breathe. But when i left her on wednesday she was completly fine. Well i called my mom into my room and she told me to put some gloves on and pick the hamsetr up. SO i turned the A.c on and and held it next to it. (also when i came into the room his food was covered with dirt and his water was finished. SO i wash the bowl with hot water, refilled it with food and also got cold cold water and put it in its water bottle. She not wheezing anymore and shes drinking. but shes not eating and she seems wak and i think shes about to die!! helo me
Take her to the vet and ask if there is anything that you can do to help your hamster and explain to them what happened.
If money is the issue go to a humane Society, or shelter they can do free examinations if this is a first visit. Or talk to the vet for a payment plan or they can lower it.
It is best to see the vet and ask them because they are qualified and most of the people on here are not and we can mis-judge what is wrong with her. The vet would be of better assistance not here.
EDIT: Do not feed it even a crum of chocolate because that is bad for them and could make the situation worse.
