Is there something strange going on?
I'm a grown man (24 y/o) and I'm scared to go back to sleep. 10 minutes ago, I woke up to my dog barking loudly. He's done this almost every night since I moved into my new house. I live alone and during the day, i feel pretty strange. Strange like i'm not the only one in the house. Ever since I was a child, I was terrified of ghosts and paranormal phenomena. About 2 days ago, my parents came to visit me. My house is fairly large and they wanted to see all of the rooms and the backyard. I was feeling tired at the time so i took a nap. I then woke up, terrified, and scared to death. I tried to scream but nothing came out. Then yesterday, as I was getting ready to go to bed, I heard a very loud sound coming from downstairs. It sounded like someone dropping a bowling ball. I rushed downstairs, but I didn't find anything. Could there be something going on in my house?
Che,before you jump to any conclusions, you would have to do a little investigating on your own.If I were in your shoes,I would look up the property and your local historical society and see who lived on it or what was built on the land at one time.I've had quite a few experiences over my life time that have turned me from a skeptic into a believer because they couldn't be recreated nor debunked.Animals are highly perceptive to any type of spiritual activity and will often alert you to it,I've had both cats and dogs that have alerted me as well.Spirits will often come to us when we are sleeping,it's when we are the most vulnerable. You say that you have the feeling that you aren't alone in the home, sometimes high electromagnetic fields can cause us to have these feelings like we are being watched, they are generated by a lot of pipes,or appliances or lights. There is no reason to be terrified of spirits, you actually have more to fear from the living than the dead.I would try doing what I suggested above and see if you can find out anything before you jump to any conclusions regarding paranormal activity in your home.I'm not saying that something isn't going on,just try to take these steps first,it's always important to try and recreate of debunk.
