How can i recover my cricketing abilities?
I used to be my school cricket captain & played exceptionally well, this i can say as I have won many awards for my achievements. But in my college studies became my first priority & i pursued that, Now I'm working in an MNC, I wanted to join cricket & applied for the corporate team selection, I told my colleagues that I used to play this game well, then when they tested me out during selection, I was pathetic, I could'nt field a ball, bat properly, my timing was very bad, my bowling was worst.. They were all laughing at me struggling there. I'm very embarassed, shamed now. Im depressed.. No amount of practicing is helping me to get back the abilities I had 6-7 yrs ago. So I request any cricketing pundit out there to give me some tips on how to get back playing well, please suggest some websites or any info link too. Thanks in advance
first u should get a good coach
second with help of ur coach find out ur weak points...every1 hav some
try to work on them whether it is a shot selection problem or as bowler
u hav difficulty in bowlin'
third practice regularly and it will tak 4 months or more to recover ur abilities(i did in 3 months)

Where to buy a Texas Tech bowling ball?
I've googled it and can't find any websites that sell Texas Tech bowling balls. My mother-in-law is alumni and told me over Thanksgiving that she's looked all around Lubbock and can't find a store that makes them. Of course I figured I could find it easily on the internet and give it to her as a Christmas gift, but i'm not having any luck. Any ideas?
i know it seems weird to post this here, but I posted under sports and haven't gotten any answers, and there wasn't a Lubbock category in Travel....and I live in Houston!
Do they paint the balls? I thought they were etched. I'm not a bowler, though.
Try calling a local bowling alley and ask them who makes their custom balls.
Texas Tech gear is very hard to find around here. My Husband is Alumni there as well.
EDIT>> Not sure how they make the balls. Here is a list of the AMF bowling alleys. You should call or go by one of them.
