Taking Measurements Off an Existing Bowling Ball- Innovative Bowling
I have been bowling-not regularly- for several years, I love the sport and am going to be taking the beginning class at my university next semester to be able to bowl every week and learn skill and technique. I have to have my own ball, what is a good ball or what do I need to be looking for in a ball, I usually use 9 or 10 lbs depending on my wrist (I have minor tendon-itis that sometimes flares) Also, I am unsure of the lane conditions I will be bowling on, is there a kind of ball that will be good on all? Also I would like to keep my purchase under $100. Also if anyone knows of a pro-shop I can go to in Louisville, Ky that would be help too!
Try the Storm "Tropical Storm", Columbia 300's "Jazz" or "Reactive Scout", Ebonite "Tornado", Hammer's "Vibe" or "Razyr", AMF "Angle Reactive" or Brunswick's "Avalanche", "Power Groove", "Copperhead", "Red Zone" or "Swarm". They are considered "starter" or "mid-priced" bowling balls, but even professionals use them if the lanes warrant them to do so.
These bowling balls have a reactive coverstock and multiple piece cores, which will allow bowlers of all styles and skill levels to play anywhere on the lane with "exotic drillings" or adjustments (polishing or sanding) to the coverstocks. You can find them at your local pro shop or at: bowling.com, ebay.com, bowlingball.com, bowlingballsales.com or bowlersparadise.com.
