help how do i help my friend wanting a hamster?
my friend told me she really wants a hamster (to be exact a short haired hamster) and well this is what we got
care fresh bedding-$7
Food-$4
Right size cage(comes with two levels tubes water bottle food bowl and wheel plus it is on sale and every thing else for the price is so cheap)-$30
Hamster-$11
Ball-$7
chew blocks-$3
and together it is $62 and well i want to know can we get the lower I know we are getting the things she needs and i know she wants one and i hope she gets one because she is responsible and have no pets and stuff and i want to help her any sights that can help and how can she save money (i have a hamster so i told her a the hamster care
If your friend truly wants a hamster, she needs to be ready for one. Does she know the proper care? Will she buy the hamster on an impulse, just because, well, she wants a pet? Has he/she done their research? Does your friend know that hammies require care for up to 3 years? Can she pay vet bills ( yes, vet bills. Hamsters are not usually known for becoming ill quickly, but you never know)?
I think that your budget is already low. $62 is an easy price to pay for a hamster and its supplies! Once again, I hope your friend knows what they are doing. It may take time to raise all of the money you need. Also, make sure your friend will not just get bored with the poor thing. Keeping a pet is a commitment!
