Bowling Ball Molds
How can i make a transparent bowling ball?
I already have a general idea of what im going to put inside of it and what materials im going to use for the coverstock. The coverstock is going to be made of a polyester resin. What I was wondering though is how large would I have to make the mold if I wanted the balls diameter to be 8.5 in?
and I forgot to mention that the Thermosetting Polyester Resin shrinks during the chemical reaction
Good luck with the ball and everything but you do realize that you will not be able to use this ball of yours in any sanctioned league or tournament play, right? Equipment must be certified by the USBC in order to be used in league or tournament play. Sounds like a fun thing to make, but it will be limited to use during practice and Friday Night Rock N' Bowl.

mold in hookah vase please help, thanks?
i was smoking hookah one night and i forgot to wash it until about two weeks later (i left the water and a little tobacco in the bowl). when i went to wash it i poured the water out of the vase and some gray fuzzy looking balls of mold spilled out. what should i do? i was thinking about cleaning it out with alcohol and then freezing it. is there anything i can do to be absolutely positive to get out all the mold?

Bleach is the best way you have at your disposal. But when using bleach, use Dawn dish soap afterwards. It will bind to any bleach residue and remove it safely.
Bling! is what I keep around that does like that without the risk of bleach.
