Bowling Ball Drilling Costs
How muc dose it cost to get holes drilled in a bowling ball?
I have a bowling ball with no holes in it. About how much dose it cost to get my fingers sized and holes drilled in it. I dont want to walk in to a pro shop and be shocked by the price.
To get a bowling ball drilled, they would have to measure your fingers and thumb, see if you need oval or round holes, check your span (conventional, semi/relaxed fingertip or full fingertip) based upon your comfort level and release, see if you would need pitch adjustments (negative, zero or positive) if you want to release the ball faster, hold on longer or release normally, and see if you would need bare holes (drilled straight through) or need a thumb slug (plastic or rubber material hammered into the hole, then your thumb measurements drilled in) and finger grips (lifts, ovals or rounds).
The grand total for most bowlers bringing in a blank bowling ball (not purchased at their pro shop) ranges from $35 to $55. Hope this helps!
