Bowling Ball Flare Potential

How to Choose Bowling Ball?
I'm looking online for a bowling ball, and different balls have different characteristics, but I'm not sure what those characteristics are. Here's an example ball:
RG: 2.48
Differential: .052
Mass Bias Diff: .020
Flare Potential: 6" + (High)
Durometer: 73-75
Lane Condition: Heavy
Also, I know some balls perform better on dry lanes, some on slick lanes. I intend to use mine at many different bowling alleys, and always in the evening (does oil pool more or dry out as it gets later?). In what sort of lane conditions ought an "all-around" ball perform? Oily? Dry? Medium?
Thanks
The most important thing is to choose one that feels right to you and works well for you. Players are as different as the balls and the lanes. An all round ball is just that - it performs well in most situations.
