storm Bowling Ball Jolt
the right way to hook a bowling ball ?
Whats the right way to hook a bowling ball ? I'm using a Storm Jolt Particle, and I have a very low rev. I think I might be throwing it wrong. What's the right way to get high revs and get a nice hit in the pocket ?
I have the Brunswick Wizard (particle) and Brunswick Red Zone (reactive), which is similar to the Storm Jolt Particle. My rev rate is pretty much low to medium with my bowling balls drilled exotically for high flare and high hook.
You don't have to rev the bowling ball up too much, especially with an outside shot. Just cup your wrist and deliver the ball normally. If you keep your hand behind the ball during delivery and release it with followthrough like you just shook someone's hand, it will definitely find its way into the pocket. If you have problems with ball weight, use a wrist support that will help you cup your wrist and hold on to the ball comfortably like the Ebonite Magforce glove/wrister. Take your time on the lane when practicing and experiment with your shot. It takes time but is well worth the effort.
Also, you can just as easily polish or sand the ball surface to match up with the lane condition you normally bowl on. Good luck!
